BUSINESS / DUNWOODY
Keep the working day moving.
A shop key changes hands. A lock becomes unreliable. A new occupier takes over. Each needs a clear plan for the actual business doors.
The premises comes first.
Dunwoody Village brings small offices and retail together around Chamblee Dunwoody and Mount Vernon roads. A business may have its own customer door while sharing another entrance with neighboring occupiers. Identify the particular private door involved and the person who can approve work on it.
Around Perimeter, a suite key, building credential and garage access can also have separate owners. A commercial locksmith inquiry should make that distinction early. For a planned change of occupier or staff, the Village key handover guide helps organize the physical keys without assuming one building-wide arrangement.
Who should have a working key?
List the people who need continuing access and the physical keys currently issued. Check which doors each key operates, including any separate back or storage entrance within the premises. Mark a missing copy as missing rather than assuming it was returned with the rest.
If the aim is to change which key works in otherwise usable hardware, discuss rekeying compatible locks. Confirm landlord and shared-entrance requirements before changing the private premises arrangement. The number of doors alone does not establish whether they can all use one key.
A key plan is not a repair plan.
A lock that catches only after several attempts is a separate problem from an unreturned staff key. Describe when the fault occurs, whether every working key behaves the same way and whether the door closes normally. Avoid relying on force or a makeshift fix to keep an entrance usable.
Use lock repair to discuss the mechanical symptoms, even if you also want to change the keys. If access has already been lost, explain that during the first call rather than arranging a planned key change as though the premises were open.
Agree on the handover.
Before work is arranged, settle which doors are included, who will approve the final scope and who receives the resulting keys. Discuss any requirement to keep a particular entrance in use during the job. Changes involving a shared entrance or building requirements need the responsible parties involved.
Call 404-882-2278 with the business address, suite and intended result. Ask about availability and the estimate for that specific request. Do not treat a general description of commercial locksmith services as confirmation of a particular building system.

GOOD QUESTIONS
A little more detail.
Is a staff departure a reason to replace all the hardware?
It is a reason to review who holds working keys. Discuss the condition and compatibility of the existing locks before deciding whether rekeying or another change suits the intended access.
Can I include the shared building entrance?
Identify it separately and involve the party responsible for that entrance. Your own premises key does not establish authority to change access used by other occupiers.
